Nada.  Classes ended yesterday.
The semester come roaring to a close.  Today is the last class for the semester--a semester marked by disruptions, cancellations and all that sort of stuff, plus a experiment which took me longer to set up than I had thought it would.  For this last class, I would like to at least show the video accompanying the book Affluenza.  If you have time, glance at it and scan as much as you can.  One of the marks of class status is ownership of things.  The poor own little, as we've seen, and the Rich own much.  The documentary Affluenza and its sequel, Escape from Affluenza investigate our obsession with stuff I'll show one or the other to end the semester, and conclude with asking for your thoughts and opinions on the state of classism in America today.
I will post your final take-home over the weekend, and e-mail you when it is ups.  That way, you'll have time to think of questions to ask about it.  (It will be due the last day of final examinations.
