Those of you who have checked the website to see what we're doing this week know I've been very late in getting the page updated. Talk about last minute...it is 9:30 a.m. on Monday as I type this.

I apologize for this. Last week was not an ordinary week for me. Some of you may know that I had a little old lady cat, Mindy by name. She lived with me since 1991. She had been slowing down for some time, and just before spring break she stopped eating. I had her put to her rest on Thursday. She was a good old girl.

I also have to apologize for not having completed work on your Samaritan papers. I got through about half of them, but it was hard to keep my concentration focussed for reasons I hope you understand. I'll get the rest finished as soon as I can. I can tell you that I'm quite happy with what I've read, so far.

Anyhow, this throws my plan for today into the shredder. So instead of inviting you to read from your papers, I'm going to show a video, Born Rich, with which some of you may be familiar. I think you'll enjoy it. It is 75 minutes long, so we should just get it in.

As I said at the outset, we're not going to read all of Terkel's Book Working. I've taken all the characters from the book and divided them among you. Each of you have four or five.
